The computer has recently reinstalled the Windows Server system and various drivers have been installed, but the sound card does not produce sound. It is found from the device manager that the sound card driver is normal, and the original sound card can be used normally in other Windows systems.
This is not because the sound card is malfunctioning or the sound card's driver is wrong, but because of the default settings of Windows Server. Under the default settings, Windows Server disables the Windows Audio service, which specifically manages audio devices based on Windows programs, audio devices and their sound effects will not work properly after disabling the service. To use the sound card correctly, you need to open the service first: click "Start" → "Administrative Tools" → "Services" in turn, open the "Services" window, find the Windows Audio option, click the right mouse button, and select "Properties", open the "Windows Audio Properties" dialog box, select "Automatic" in the "Startup Type" drop-down list, then click the "Start" button to start the service, and finally click the "OK" button to close the dialog box. The sound card works then. The system will automatically start the service in the future.
